USO Ontario is an organization with a mission to enhance the quality of life of the U.S. armed forces personnel and their families worldwide and to create a cooperative relationship between U.S. military communities and involved or supporting civilian communities.
We are a non-profit, tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization. Through local donations from a wide variety of Southern California individuals, corporations and organizations, USO Ontario is able to provide programs and services including the popular "United Through Reading" program.
Our Ontario Airport Facility is open 365-days a year and serves more 25-30,000 patrons annually. Whether it's a quiet place to go for rest and relaxation, movies and refreshments or a friendly face, USO Ontario consistently delivers its special brand of service to the military -- being a true home away from home.
The goal of USO Ontario is to extend a sense of comfort in an unfamiliar place to all active duty military and their families. More than 140 volunteers give their time to assist in staffing our center. These volunteers aid in ensuring American service men and women feel "at home" in Ontario. |
